Specialist Car Servicing Garage

"How Often Should I Service My Car?"

To keep your vehicle in the best possible condition it should really be serviced every year. Or, if you do a lot of mileage, then it should be serviced every 10,000 - 12,000 miles. We have access to systems that can give us your full service history. If you are not sure, ask us.

WE CAN COMPLETE Main Dealer ServiCING, without the Price Tag

Did you know that alongside standard car servicing, we can also complete your manufacturer, or main dealer, service for you? If your vehicle is still under warranty, then we will always use manufacturer parts, service schedules and provide the correct receipt. This way your service is valid under manufacturer guidelines. So, you can avoid the high prices of the main dealer, while still protecting your new car warranty.

Online Service History - We Do Digital Service Records

Although we still complete traditional service books, we also update digital service records (DSRs). For instance, we have completed many service history records for Mazda, Mercedes, Jaguar, VW Volkswagen, Audi & Skoda vehicles, to name just a few. So, as a multi-certified DSR garage, you can come to us safely in the knowledge that your service will always be recorded officially and correctly.

We offer a few different types of car service, depending on your requirements and budget. The range extends from our cheapest and most basic “oil and filter change” service up to our most intensive and expensive “manufacturers service.”

If you’re not sure what you need then you could check our blog on What Car Service Do I Need? (Click HERE). Or, just ask us? We have the systems in-house to tell you!

In the meantime, here’s a quick overview of the different car servicing we offer.

Oil and Filter Change:

An oil and filter change is one of the most important parts of a service and is included in all  of our car services. It helps your car to run reliably and helps increase fuel efficiency. As a service garage we have a duty of care towards you to complete a visual safety inspection when we work on your car, even if your car is booked in for a basic service. However, this doesn’t include your brake check. So, we’d definitely advise that you also book in a brake check at least once a year with us.

Standard / Interim Service:

This car service includes the oil and filter change along with a top up of all the key fluids in your car’s engine (washer fluid, brake fluid, antifreeze and steering fluid). We check up to 35 key components to ensure that your car is in the best condition possible. This car service does include checking your brakes. We’ll also recommend any additional work if your car needs it.

Major or Full Service:

Our full car service includes the above plus an extra 15-30 additional checks on the car’s components. Also we change your spark plugs, fuel filters and other service/wear items that are recommended by your manufacturer’s schedule. It doesn’t include any additional repair or maintenance work. If any problem areas are highlighted during your service then we’ll detail these with you and provide you with an affordable quote.

Manufacturers or Main Dealer Service:

A Manufacturer service should include all wear, service and maintenance your car needs and is the most comprehensive service available. There is a wide range of checks included in the manufacturer’s service including:

  • Oil and oil filter check and replacement
  • Brake fluid check
  • Anti-Freeze coolant check and top up
  • Windscreen wash check and top up
  • Full brake check
  • Power steering fluid check and top up
  • Steering check
  • Shock absorbers check.
  • Suspension check
  • Light check
  • Windscreen wipers check
  • Wheel alignment check
  • Charging systems check
  • Exhaust check
  • Battery check
  • Charging system check
  • Tyre tread and pressure check
